If you have not yet made your hotel reservations, you may still contact our host hotel for a reservation first (in case they have had any cancellations), but if there is still no availability during your requested dates, we are providing a list of nearby hotels for your reference. Note: SDC is not holding a block of rooms at any of the properties on this list.

You may wish to extend your stay before or after the meeting ends. Our negotiated rate will be extended from April 22-29 subject to availability. We are not holding rooms in our block over the extended dates. (Room block dates are April 25-26, 2012)
Convention Room Rates
Guest Room Rate: $139.00 USD + 14.17% tax for Single/Double Occupancy (based on availability)
Government Room Rates
A very limited number of government rate rooms have been reserved for our group. If you would qualify for a government rate, please reserve your room as soon as possible by calling the hotel directly and identifying yourself as a government employee booking within the SDC room block. Unfortunately, you will not be able to obtain this rate by booking on-line and will need to call the hotel reservations department directly at 1-800-222 TREE (8733) or call hotel directly at 1-480-947-5400 and ask for reservations.
The cut-off date for hotel reservations is April 3, 2012. Our room block is limited and the cut-off date may not be extended as this is peak season in Phoenix. Rates and availability are not guaranteed after this date or once the block has been filled, so please book early.

To phone in your reservation, call 1-800-222 TREE (8733) or call hotel directly at 1-480-947-5400 and ask for reservations. Be sure to tell the reservationist that you are attending the Strategic Development Council Meeting to obtain the specially negotiated rate. Group Code is SDC.
All reservations must be guaranteed by an advance deposit equal to one night’s stay to hold each room. This deposit is refundable if the hotel is notified of cancellation up to 72 hours prior to arrival. No shows will be charged for their first night stay and early departures will be charged the amount equal to one half of one night’s room rate.
