The Inn at St. John's, a luxury boutique hotel with adjoining conference center, has been a part of Michigan history for more than half a century. Though it began in the 1940s as the seminary for the Archdiocese of Detroit, St. John's was reborn in 1998 when work began on an $11 million redevelopment of the main buildings into a comprehensive center for corporate and social conferences, wedding receptions, Catholic ceremonies, and celebrations. The St. John's Golf and Conference Center opened in 2000, and in 2006, the hotel and restaurant were added and the new name of The Inn at St. John's was introduced to encompass the entire property.

This upscale property features 118 luxury guestrooms and offers every convenience of a large hotel in an intimate setting. 5ive Restaurant offers a casually upscale dining experience with a 70-seat restaurant, martini lounge and al fresco dining on the outdoor terrace in season, while the Mission Grille offers more casual fare at the “19th” hole.

The hotel also has an indoor pool with swim resistance area and jacuzzi as well as a complete fitness facility.

The adjoining conference center has 23 meeting rooms, 4 ballrooms, a 16-seat executive boardroom, and a two-story glass-roofed atrium with adjoining break-out space for a total of 42,000 ft² of versatile space.

Also located on the campus is St. John’s Golf Course, a 27-hole resort-style course. This challenging Par-72 course was designed for all skill levels. The original 18 holes were designed by Jerry Matthews and the new nine holes were designed by Pat Grelak.

We are not holding rooms in our block over the extended dates.

If phoning in your reservation, contact the Inn at St. John’s at 1-734-414-0600 and ask for reservations. Be sure to tell the reservationist that you are attending the ACI-Strategic Development Council Session #28 to obtain the specially negotiated rate.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card or advance cash deposit. Hotel will not hold any reservations after 6:00 p.m. unless secured by a credit card. Hotel must be notified of cancellations 24 hours prior to the date of arrival or will forfeit the first night room deposit or be charged an amount equal to one night’s room and tax.
