Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, located on the banks of the Cumberland River in the heart of Nashville, is one of the most well-known and award-winning resorts in the country. This venue, recognized as one of the top five convention properties in the country, offers everything under one roof. Within three spectacular glass-domed atriums are 9 acres of indoor botanical gardens, cascading waterfalls and rock gardens, dozens of entertainment options, specialty shops, and restaurants. Shown in the picture on the top right is “The Delta,” a re-creation of a New Orleans-style river town with the world’s largest indoor river and flatboats surrounding many shopping and dining options. With 2881 recently remodeled guestrooms and 600,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space in the attached Convention Center, eight restaurants, the Relache Spa, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour-access business center, nearby golf, and other recreational opportunities, this venue is a destination in and of itself.
You may wish to extend your stay before or after the meeting ends as our meeting dates fall just before the long Memorial Day weekend. The negotiated rate will be extended for 3 days before and 3 days after our meeting dates, but the extended dates are subject to availability and not actually held within our room block, so be sure to book as early as possible.

All rates are based on single or double occupancy. Any additional occupants will be subject to an additional charge of $20.00 per person per night, plus applicable taxes.
Children 12 years and under stay free in same room with parents.
Resort Service Charge
There is a mandatory resort service charge of $15.00 per room per day that will be added to your bill. The resort charge includes; use of the fitness center; in-room high-speed and wireless Internet access; complex shuttle transportation; in-room newspaper delivery; 800-number and local phone calls (free for the first 20 minutes and then $.10/minute thereafter); and two bottled waters daily per room.
The cut-off date for hotel reservations is April 20, 2009. Our room block is limited and the cut-off date may not be extended.

If phoning in your reservation, dial 615-883-2211 and ask for reservations. Be sure to tell the reservationist that you are attending the Strategic Development Council Meeting to obtain the specially negotiated rate. (Group Code X-ACII9)
A deposit equal to 1-night’s stay is required to hold each individual’s reservation. Such deposit shall serve to confirm the reservation for the date(s) indicated, and, upon check-in, shall be applied to the first night of the reserved stay. The deposit is refundable if notice is received at least 3 days prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained. All deposits shall be charged at the time the reservation is made.
We are no longer providing a hotel reservation form to be downloaded and faxed to the hotel.
