SDC Member Profile
BASF Construction Chemicals
Started in 1968, BASF Construction Chemicals has been a leader in
providing innovations to help cope successfully with today's and
tomorrow's challenges. As a market and technology leader, BASF
Construction Chemicals develops innovative and customized solutions and
generates 20% of annual sales from product developments younger than
five years old.
"As one of the founding members of the SDC, BASF remains committed to the
program," said Gabriel Cottrell of BASF Construction
Chemicals. "Since 1997, the mission of the SDC has been to
'accelerate the acceptance of new technology' through industry
collaboration. The core objective is to remove barriers on industry critical technologies such as floor moisture, formwork pressure when using self-consolidating concrete, and performance specifications.
In doing so, the SDC has helped to add value to our operations at BASF, and we believe the entire industry will benefit from this collaborative effort."
