CONCRETE INDUSTRY LEADERS TO MEET
THIS FALL TO DISCUSS CRITICAL CONCRETE INDUSTRY ISSUES
Strategic Development Council to hold its regular session and strategic planning meeting in Palm Harbor, Fla.; Registration now open
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (July 14, 2008) - The concrete industry’s Strategic Development Council (SDC) has announced its upcoming meeting this fall to discuss several issues and initiatives facing the concrete industry.
The SDC gathering will take place Oct. 8-10, 2008, at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Fla. From noon Oct. 8 until noon Oct. 9, time will be devoted to a strategic planning session of SDC to discuss SDC direction and governance issues. SDC Session #24 will begin at noon Oct. 9 and adjourn at noon Oct. 10. SDC critical industry technologies, including a final report on SCC Formwork Pressure research, updates on Building Information Modeling (BIM), and sustainability will be the focus of the meeting.
SDC membership consists of concrete industry leaders and exists to identify industry critical technologies and issues that affect the concrete community. The organization creates and implements various strategies that facilitate an efficient and effective transition into these progressive concrete technologies.
