The principal focus of this SDC meeting was to present to SDC members:

The moving forward of SDC's Building
Information Modeling (BIM) initiative, with CRSI's Bob Risser
agreeing to champion the effort. During SDC #24, members
agreed to the approval of BIM as an "Industry Critical
Technology."

The discussion of SDC's Sustainability
Vision & Roadmap, and the direction it will take for the
rest of the concrete industry to use as it sees fit.

Updates on SDC's Self-Consolidating
Concrete Formwork Pressure research. The final report is
expected to be available by the end of this year.
